KPMG Law has successfully represented the client before the European Court of Human Rights against the Republic of Lithuania. 

The Court has sustained the client‘s position that the law enforcement institution has breached Art. 3 (Prohibition of Torture) of the European Convention on Human Rights and has awarded damages thereof. 

The case was led by Jonas Platelis, the Associate Partner of KPMG Law. The Court decision was passed on 19th November 2019.
