KPMG Law has successfully represented the creditor against the unfair debtor who was hiding its assets under the ownership of the related persons.

The professionals of KPMG Law have managed to prove in court that the actual ownership rights vest in and are exercised by the debtor. Consequently, under the court decision the ownership rights to certain assets were transferred to the debtor as the actual owner thus empowering the creditor to recover the debt from the debtor.

The case was led by Jonas Platelis, the Associate Partner of KPMG Law. The court decision was ruled in September 2019.
